Once I constructed a canon divergent version of events in my head where Ezra begins to seek out sith teachings mostly because he wishes to save Kanan so so much and instead of listening to Ahsoka he goes against all odds to save him but the pursuit, being impossible, continues to destroy him, until he accepts Kanan's death and I think it's very cool, you should read the fanfic inside my head.
